Amnesty International has accused Israel of carrying out what it described as “ethnic cleansing” against Bedouin communities in the occupied West Bank.
In its statement, Amnesty International alleged that Israeli authorities have intensified policies leading to the forced displacement of Bedouin families through home demolitions, restrictions on land access, and pressure to relocate from ancestral areas.
The human rights organization said several Bedouin communities are facing eviction threats and worsening living conditions, arguing that such actions violate international humanitarian and human rights laws.
Israeli authorities have previously maintained that demolitions and relocation measures are linked to planning and construction regulations, stating that structures built without official permits are subject to legal action.
The allegations have intensified international attention on the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, where rights groups continue to call for the protection of civilians and compliance with international law amid ongoing regional tensions.
