QUETTA: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Friday arrested Mir Khan Lehri, a close associate of Dr. Usman Qazi, for allegedly facilitating the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).
According to CTD officials, Lehri, who holds a law degree from the International Islamic University Islamabad, previously served as a prosecutor with the Balochistan government. During his tenure, he is suspected of extending support to BLA operatives.
Preliminary investigations suggest that Lehri was involved in more than a dozen criminal activities. The CTD has initiated a comprehensive probe to determine his role and network within the outlawed group.
