KARACHI,

July 13 , 2025

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a warning of persistently high temperatures and oppressive humidity across most districts of Sindh over the next 24 hours.

While widespread hot, sticky weather is expected, certain areas—namely Umerkot, Mithi, Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Kashmore, and the coastal belt—may briefly see partly cloudy skies with occasional isolated rain during the evening and night hours.

Sindh is set for high heat and humidity through July 14 and into July 15, with humidity levels near the coast—such as Karachi—hovering around 78%.

Isolated Showers: Evening or nighttime rainy breaks are possible in selected places including Umerkot and coastal regions, though most districts will remain dry.

From today to Friday, Karachi will experience highs of 33–35 °C (91–95 °F) paired with high humidity—likely resulting in muggy, uncomfortable conditions. Breezy evenings may offer temporary relief, though the heat will be persistent.

Around the weekend, the region may encounter patchy light rain or thunderstorms, possibly providing slight respite from the sultriness.

Stay hydrated and avoid prolonged sun exposure, especially during midday. Those in areas expecting evening showers should be prepared with rain gear.Keep an eye on local PMD updates in case conditions shift with approaching weather systems.
