The Punjab School Education Department has introduced a new School Monitoring App to improve transparency, accountability, and oversight across educational institutions in the province. The digital initiative is designed to cover **60,015 schools**, helping authorities monitor academic performance, teaching quality, and school infrastructure through a centralized platform.
The application brings multiple monitoring functions together in one system, allowing education officials to access school-related information and make decisions based on updated data. It is intended to replace fragmented monitoring mechanisms with a unified digital system.
The app includes features for tracking students’ academic progress, assessing classroom teaching practices, and reviewing the condition of school facilities. Officials can also access information about student enrollment, classroom availability, and school buildings.
The platform combines monitoring functions for three organizations: the School Education Department (SED), the Punjab Education Initiatives Management Authority (PEIMA), and the Punjab Education Foundation (PEF).
Authorized users can log in using their CNIC and password, select their assigned schools, and access different monitoring sections, including student assessments, teaching observations, and infrastructure reports.
The department expects the new application to strengthen school supervision, improve transparency, and help identify areas requiring attention. The initiative aims to support better monitoring and contribute to improvements in the province’s education system.
