Three Bookies Arrested in Lahore for Betting on Asia Cup Final

LAHORE – Johar Town police claimed to have arrested three alleged bookies involved in online gambling on the Asia Cup Final, including Pakistan vs India. The suspects, identified as Imran, Imad, and Islam, were taken into custody during a targeted raid.

Police said two laptops, three mobile phones, and over Rs100,000 in cash were seized from their possession. Investigations revealed that the accused were also operating betting networks on international cricket tournaments, including the upcoming World Cup, through mobile applications.

SP Saddar Rana Hussain Tahir confirmed that cases have been registered against the accused and further investigations are underway.
