Three female students were injured after armed men entered a girls’ degree college in Nushki, Balochistan, and opened fire on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.

According to police, the injured students were shifted to Mir Gul Khan Naseer Teaching Hospital for medical treatment. Their identities and the latest details about their condition had not been made public in the initial reports.

A college administrative officer said that three armed men entered the institution through its main gate and went to the principal’s office. The men reportedly vandalised property inside the office before opening fire, triggering panic among students and staff.

Nushki City Police confirmed the incident. However, the motive behind the attack and further details about the suspects were not immediately available. Initial reports also did not confirm whether any arrests had been made.

The shooting has raised serious concerns about security at educational institutions in Balochistan, particularly girls’ colleges. Further information is awaited from police regarding the suspects, the circumstances surrounding the incident and possible security measures following the attack.
