In Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat area, a female polio worker was injured in an attack on a polio team.
According to police, during the polio campaign, a woman named Samina refused to let her children take polio drops. When the polio worker tried to convince her, the woman, along with her two sons, attacked the polio worker.
Officials stated that the female polio worker sustained a head injury during the attack.
Police have registered a case on the request of the polio team in charge and initiated an investigation. The case includes charges of assault, issuing serious threats, and interference in official duties.
